I recently stayed at this beautiful hotel and had a fantastic experience overall. The property is stunning, and the views are absolutely amazing. The restaurant on-site served excellent food, making every meal a delight. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure that all my needs were met. The room was clean and well-maintained, though I did find it a bit hot during my stay. Despite that minor issue, the comfort of the hotel more than made up for it. The location is very convenient, with easy access to walking around town and exploring local attractions. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its great amenities, attentive service, and prime location.

Very convenient hotel for a one night stay between disembarking from the Havila voyage and flying to Oslo. The Flybussen stops right outside to arrive at and leave the hotel . Very central to look around the town and about a 20 min easy walk to the museum. The restaurant serves Norwegian food and international and is a reasonable price for Norway. Breakfast is superb too The rooms are functional ,clean and the bed is very comfortable. The area is quiet and peaceful

Good hotel, always clean and staff friendly and helpful. Great central location and nice tea and coffee available throughout the day. We had to make 3 bookings to cover our stay but hotel good and let us keep same room throughout.

Great location, staff very helpful and hotel always clean and tidy. Breakfast selection improved throughout stay particularly addressing the initial poor selection of fruit. Good variety of hot and cold food and tea and coffee choices. We had a late flight out and hotel very accommodating with a late check out which they provided. We opted for superior room with sea view as stayed many times before so we know we like this type of room. Spacious with all necessary amenities, complimentary toiletries provided and cleaning standard very good by Lin. Comfy beds but can get a bit warm.

The hotel was in a great location right on the fiord. Reception area was bright and airy, staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was ready when we booked in at 1, nice room with great view. Bathroom had heated floor and the room had space for suitcases as well as an iron and ironing board in a clever little cupboard. Breakfast was the best selection I have seen in a hotel, lovely fresh fruit, bread and salads.Good gluten free section too with a separate toaster. Hot breakfast was plentiful and freshly made and a really good lot of choices. Dinner was delicious, especially the king crab.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in Europe. Extraordinary breakfast buffet with varieties, free coffee and tea throughout the day. Very nice and helpful staff. It is almost at the front of the sea and can be viewed the northern lights easily. From the breakfast area, there is very impressive panoramic view to Fjords and sea. From the hotel bed room you may request for ocean view, which is recommended. There is a kettle and tea in each room. Room was very clean. The restaurant in the Thon Hotel is very good. They serve vegetables, fresh fish/crabs and meat! The sightseeing tour bus stops here in front of Thon Hotel. I will come back again. I recommend everybody to try this hotel for a visit!

Location, breakfast, service are excellent. I arrived at the hotel early in the morning due to Havila cruise arrived early in the morning. The manager assigned me a room immediately before official check-in time. It's very helpful to me. Thanks to the manager. The airport bus stopped right in front of hotel for airport. The water view was amazing although I couldn't see the northern light:) . Good room size, all necessary facilities are there. I personally like the fresh orange juice maker very much.

Nice hotel directly on the water with views of the rugged arctic landscape. The colorful room against the monochrome view was a delight. The breakfast spread was comprehensive and pleasing. Especially liked the fresh squeezed orange juice and the beetroot-ginger tonic - yum!
